About GameFormulas
Free calculators for the numbers games don't explain — built so that you can check the maths, not just trust it.
Why this site exists
Search for almost any game calculator and you will find a wall of pages that describe the same formula without saying where it came from. Many of them are out of date; some were never right. A calculator that quietly returns a wrong number is worse than no calculator at all, because you act on it.
So this site is built around a single rule: every number is traced to the publisher's own documentation, and every page states which scenario that number applies to. Where a publisher uses more than one rate for what looks like the same thing — which happens more often than you would expect — the page sets them out side by side instead of collapsing them into one figure.
How each page is built
- The formula is taken from primary sources, not from another calculator site. Each page links to the exact documentation page its numbers came from.
- The scenario is stated explicitly. A payout rule that is correct for one kind of sale can be badly wrong for another, so the inputs make you choose.
- Numbers are dated. Every tool page records the day its figures were last checked against the source, because games change their rates.
- Limits are stated. If a calculator can't tell you something, the page says so rather than implying a precision it doesn't have.
What this site does not do
- It doesn't want your data. There is no account, no sign-up, and no upload. Every calculator runs as JavaScript in your own browser; the numbers you type are never transmitted anywhere. See the Privacy Policy.
- It doesn't use game art or assets. Game names appear only as text, to describe what a calculator computes. No logos, no screenshots, no ripped sprites.
- It doesn't claim to be official. This is an independent tool site, not affiliated with or endorsed by any publisher — that is spelled out on every page.
- It doesn't guess. Where a figure depends on something we cannot verify, the page says what to check rather than inventing a value.
Found something wrong?
If a number here disagrees with a publisher's documentation, the documentation is right and this page is a bug. Tell us which calculator and which figure, with the link you checked it against, and it will be corrected — see Contact.
How the site is run
GameFormulas is a small independent project served as static pages from Netlify. There is no back end, no database and no user data to protect, which is deliberate: it means the tools can stay free and the privacy promises stay simple enough to be true.
